| What's New? |
The Scottish Rite is an organization of Masons established to promote morality and charity. Its members are dedicated to the cause of human progress and the ideals for which America stands. Our Scottish Rite movement leads all other charitable organizations in the teaching and expounding the great moral values. By precept and example we have inculcated patriotism, respect for law and order, and undying loyalty to the Constitution and to our country. We have been the militant champions of a freedom-loving people in exemplifying the lessons of truth's fight against tyranny, ignorance, injustice, and corruption. We support the tenets of Brotherly Love, Relief, and Truth, and endeavor to abide by the cardinal virtues of Temperance, Fortitude, Prudence, and Justice. We have fought for the cause of human progress, the freedom of human conscience and the guarantee of equal right to all peoples everywhere. As Scottish Rite Masons, we have solemnly subscribed to this highly meaningful and truly inspiring God-like Code of Life. As Scottish Rite Masons, we have enlisted in the cause of humanity. Education, Liberty, Tolerance, and Brotherhood are our watchwords as we stand with those who are united against ignorance, bigotry, intolerance, and oppression. As Scottish Rite Masons, we uphold and protect those ideals which have placed the United States of America as the leader amongst all Nations of the world. The thousands of Scottish Rite Masons who have personified these ideals have helped build Our Institution, and in so doing, have created The World's Most Purposeful Organization.
